Thankyou for supporting our small independent business

Disposables. We love how convenient they are during a night out or a weekend away where all we need is something quick and easy to give us that nicotine fix, and it doesn't matter if we lose or damage it. But is there a cost for the convenience? Are they really the best option for you?

Let's check the alternative; pod systems. While a little more expensive, they completely pay for themselves after the first fortnight. Having a refillable and rechargeable device means it has a seemingly boundless lifespan, and doesn't get thrown in the street like a half-eaten doner wrap at 2am. Pod systems are infinitely better for our environment, and offer so much more value, which we'll dig into in this post.

Having a permanent device is probably the biggest win; we don't get rid of our car when it runs out of fuel, or throw a pint glass away after we've had our beer, so why are we throwing away devices that could so easily be refilled? Let's opt for something a little more permanent.

Your choice of flavours is far deeper when you have a pod system, too - iced blackberry lemonades with a mint leaf, rhubarb raspberry and botanical orange blossom, salted caramel blondies... the recipes are endless, and they're crafted in the UK in certified labs. Cleeeaaaan!

As well as the mouth-watering flavour options, pod systems are conveniently rechargeable, too! With everything going to USB-C ports (even iPhones, at last), it's super easy to plug your pod system in for twenty minutes and have enough charge for the day.

So! Better flavour and performance, kinder to our planet, more options for higher-standard e-liquids, and far more cost-effective. While we might want something that we're happy to damage or lose, what's £20 for a pod system?

If you're thinking of making the switch from disposables, we're avid fans of Vaporesso's Xros line, and Oxva's Xlim range - pop in store to have a chat about what's best for you.

Let's reduce our waste.
